Mannaas Veedu - Pathanamthitta

Mannaas Veedu is constructed as per Vasthu Shastra (an ancient science for the construction of houses, prescribed by the Rishis). The house is constructed in Nalukettu, the traditional style of architecture in Kerala, wherein a house has a quadrangle in the centre. Nalukettu is prevalent in traditional homes of the upper-class homesteads, where customs and rituals are a part of life. This eco-friendly mansion is created using wood, laterite stone, and Mangalorean tiles, with a central open courtyard.

The interiors of the rooms are tastefully decorated with a wealth of antiques made from teak and mahogany. The high roof with a wooden ceiling and cross ventilation ensures a cool atmosphere in tune with the serene village ambience and makes air conditioning unnecessary. Spacious and sophisticated, all guestrooms offer luxurious style and comfort. Each room reflects the local culture and exquisite architecture. They are modern, airy, and well-lit. These rooms offer gorgeous views and décor befitting royalty, with high wooden ceilings. Rooms are well equipped with amenities like a minibar, a tea/coffee maker, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Taste typical Kerala food with grandma's recipes and organic vegetables from our own farm. It serves the cuisine of 2,000-year-old Kerala Syrian Christians, which blends Indian and European tastes. The exotic menu, prepared from farm-fresh fruits, fresh seafood, meat, and vegetables, flavored with spices grown in the backyard, ensures the right mix of nutrients.

Mannaas Veedu offers authentic Ayurveda in a peaceful, caring environment. This is the perfect retreat for those who are interested in genuine Ayurveda. The Healing Touch treatment programme has its roots in a holistic approach to common health disorders. This approach sees human beings as an integral part of nature and is concerned not only with the physical well-being of the patient but also with his or her psychological and social life.
