'Vaidyaratnam' was the title bestowed upon Ashtavaidyan Sri E.T. Narayanan Mooss by the British Government in 1924, for his valuable contribution in the field of Ayurveda. Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda Foundation was envisaged by the founder Ashtavaidyan E.T. Neelakandhan Mooss to make authentic traditional Ayurveda treatment accessible even to the common man, irrespective of cast, gender, age or socio-economic status.
