The Kochi-Muziris Biennale is an international exhibition of contemporary art held in Kochi, Kerala. It is the third Biennale being held in India.
Indian and international artists exhibit artworks across a variety of mediums including film, installation, painting, sculpture, new media and performing arts- set in spaces across Kochi, Muziris and surrounding islands.
Through the celebration of contemporary art from around the world, The Kochi-Muziris Biennale seeks to invoke the historic cosmopolitan legacy of the modern metropolis of Kochi, and its mythical predecessor, the ancient port of Muziris.
Alongside the exhibition the Biennale 2018 offers a rich programs of talks, seminars, screenings, music, workshops and educational activities for school children and students.

Meet our local expert in Fort Kochi. Explore this vibrant, historic harbor town with a local expert during a walk through historic buildings filled with Contemporary Art.

Follow to Mattanchery, a centuries old rare multicultural settlement. Sip spiced tea while biting into piping hot savories at a local roadside Gujarati sweet shop.

Take a look at contemporary Kerala with its Art galleries, Cafes and Designer boutiques and mix it with a visit of the Old spice market, Christian shrine, Jewish Synagogue and Dutch Palace…

Finally enjoy a lunch at an Art-café in Fort Kochi.
